An accessory in 1:35 scale for models of German vehicles: a fire extinguisher, which belonged to the external equipment of fighting vehicles of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A fire extinguisher was part of the ordinary equipment of German fighting vehicles of the Second World War. It tended to be fixed in a bracket on the outside of the hull or on a fender, so that the crew could reach it without opening the hatches. That is exactly why it is clearly visible on a finished model and belongs among the small things that decide whether a build looks credible.
It is a separate part in 1:35 scale for finishing a model of a German vehicle. It will replace the simplified shape from a kit, or add the equipment where the basic model does not have it at all. Given its size it pays to have tweezers and good light at hand; a small part is easily lost.
Cut away surplus material with a sharp blade a short distance from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so as not to disturb the shape. Before painting, wash the part and degrease it; on a smooth surface the paint will not hold otherwise. Cyanoacrylate glue suits the gluing and holds even where ordinary cement for polystyrene fails. Apply the paint in thin layers over a base coat, so that the edges and the surface texture stay legible. Finally bring the detail out with a dark wash, which gives a small part depth. Check the placement on the vehicle against the documentation for the type you are building, because it differs between individual vehicles.
For builders of military vehicles in 1:35 scale who are taking a model down to the detail, and for makers of dioramas. The accessory is the subject of the delivery. The model, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
