This injection-molded plastic diorama set from ICM in 1:35 scale contains several separate kits that together make up a scene of German armored hardware on a recovery theme. The box combines a combat vehicle, a recovery vehicle, a light off-road car and figures, so the modeler gets a complete basis for a diorama of their own. The exact make-up and the number of parts are stated on the box.
The set draws on German hardware of the Second World War. It combines tracked combat and recovery vehicles derived from the Panther chassis with a light off-road vehicle and with figures of German soldiers, including crews and tank riders. The motif captures a typical front-line situation in which a heavy vehicle had to be recovered or towed away with the help of ropes and manpower.
Build the individual vehicles separately and finish the running gear before the hull is closed up. Use thin cement on the plastic, sand the joints down and apply a primer coat. The figures are better painted separately and set into the scene only once they are finished. For a coherent diorama, tie the hardware and the figures together with shared washes, dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
