This plastic kit from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM in 1:35 scale captures the three-axle cross-country truck KAMAZ-4310 in army configuration with an enclosed box body. The kit offers a detailed chassis, engine and cab; the cab can be built tilted with the engine bay exposed. Decals for a modern pixel camouflage are included.
The KAMAZ-4310 is a Soviet truck with all-wheel drive whose series production began in 1981 at the plant in Naberezhnye Chelny. It served above all to carry personnel and loads of up to about six tons. Trucks of this type are still used by a number of armies and the Ukrainian army continues to field them.
We recommend liquid cement for plastic, and finishing the interior and the engine before the body is closed up. The bodywork is best prepared with a primer coat; lay the paint on with an airbrush and lift the pixel scheme with light washes and dust pigments for weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
