A plastic kit of the German Kfz.70 cross-country personnel carrier, supplemented with an MG 34 general purpose machine gun, in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer ICM.
Responsibility details are not available.
In the German army, the designation Kfz.70 belonged to a cross-country car for carrying a gun crew. The vehicle carried weapon crews and their gear, it was built for driving off the road and its open body had benches for the seated crew, so it managed rapid moves away from roads. The MG 34 general purpose machine gun of 7.92 mm caliber that was added served for defense against infantry and against low-flying aircraft and turned an ordinary transport car into a combat-capable machine.
It is an injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer ICM. The plastic parts are on sprues, with a clear part for the glazing and a decal sheet added. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and printed instructions take you through the build.
Assemble the frame and the axles on a flat surface and keep checking that all the wheels sit down. The MG 34 is small and thin-walled, so use a sharp blade when cutting it off the sprue and support the part. Paint the inside of the body before you close it, because later you will not reach it. Choose the shade according to the period of service, since in the first years of the war German vehicles wore a uniform dark finish, while later lighter bases with camouflage patches prevailed.
The kit suits modelers of German military vehicles and diorama builders, because a vehicle with a machine gun offers a story in itself. Figures, paints, glue and accessory sets are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
