Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from the maker ICM of Ukraine in 1:35 scale. The subject is the early version of the Ford Model T ambulance in the markings of the American volunteer ambulance service (AAFS) of the First World War period. The package contains plastic sprues with a detailed chassis, engine and interior, plus decals. Paints and glue are not included.
The Ford Model T was among the most widespread automobiles of its day and in ambulance form it proved itself on the Western Front. Its light and reliable construction allowed it to operate even in difficult terrain, where the vehicles carried the wounded away from the front. Volunteer ambulance units with these vehicles played an important role in the medical services behind the lines.
Assemble and finish the chassis, the engine and the interior before you close up the body. Glue with liquid cement for plastic and set the fine parts in place carefully. Paint with an airbrush over a primer; for a period look, accentuating the details with a wash and adding fine dust and mud effects with pigments on the chassis and the tires both work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
