An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary German Tiger I heavy tank in the medium production block version in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter. The model captures the characteristic appearance of this production period and carries an imitation of the anti-magnetic Zimmerit paste; the box contains a photo-etched fret and decals for marking options.
The Pz.Kpfw.VI Ausf.E Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War that became a symbol of power and a feared opponent thanks to its armor and its famous 88 mm KwK 36 gun. Tanks of the medium production block can be recognized by the new commander's cupola with vision slots and by further changes compared with the early form. German vehicles of that period often carried a coat of Zimmerit paste as protection against magnetic mines.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies; plan the running gear and the interleaved road wheels in advance. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush. With German tanks a three-color camouflage works well, along with final weathering using washes and dust pigments and bringing out the relief of the Zimmerit with drybrushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
