The Jaguar 1 belonged among the mainstays of the antitank defense of the West German army. On a hull coming from the family of tank destroyers it carried a launcher for HOT antitank guided missiles, with which it could hit an armored target at a great distance without having to come within range of a tank gun. Its low silhouette and good mobility across terrain made it a vehicle that hid behind a fold of ground, fired and immediately changed position.
Assemble and spray the tracks and the running gear before you close the hull and fit the superstructure. Leave the launcher freely movable only if you dare to seat it accurately, otherwise it is safer to choose one position and fix it. Apply the three-color Bundeswehr camouflage over a soft mask and leave the borders of the shades gently blurred. Grade the dust and the deposits from below and keep them to a minimum on the upper surfaces.
The vehicle is in the box unassembled and unpainted; according to the manufacturer the enclosed paints and glue cover the basic steps of the build.
