Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model of a vehicle or an aircraft but an add-on set of injection-molded plastic. The contents are ammunition boxes for the Soviet RS-132 unguided rockets in 1:35 scale, that is the typical material that appeared at supply points and around equipment during the Second World War. The set serves for filling and bringing to life dioramas, bases and display cases where a model on its own, with no surrounding equipment, comes across as empty. The maker is the Ukrainian firm ICM. The particular number of parts, the number of boxes and the dimensions are stated on the box of the set and in the enclosed instructions.
The RS-132 was a Soviet unguided rocket of 132 millimeter caliber from the period of the Second World War, used as the armament of combat aircraft. Ammunition of this type was transported and stored in wooden boxes, which belonged to the ordinary equipment of field stores and technical positions. It is precisely such small equipment that gives a diorama scale and believability, because the viewer judges the size of the whole scene at once from a familiar object.
Cut the parts from the sprues with a sharp scalpel or nippers and sand the joints; with small parts it is better to sand less and rather twice. Glue with thin cement for plastic applied by capillary action into the joint. Apply the base coat with a primer; for a wooden look a light base color supplemented with thin acrylic or oil glazes in the direction of the grain has proved itself. Lettering and markings can be suggested with a dry brush or with a decal if you have one. Final layers of dust and mud will unify the boxes with the base of the diorama and with the equipment you are building them beside.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
