Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the German Sd.Kfz.223 light armored radio car in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The model has a finely shaped hull, a detailed interior and the characteristic frame antenna; depending on the contents of the box, photo-etched parts are usually included as well. It is an unassembled, unpainted kit to be glued together.
The Sd.Kfz.223 belonged to the family of German light four-wheeled armored reconnaissance cars. It was a radio (Funk) car fitted with a wireless set and a conspicuous folding frame antenna above the hull. It carried a small turret with a 7.92 mm MG 34 machine gun. It was driven by a rear-mounted Horch engine; the vehicle was fast and was used for reconnaissance and liaison.
Finish and paint the interior first, before you close the hull. Assemble the frame antenna carefully and glue it with thin cement for plastic. Lay the base coat down with an airbrush, bring out the details with washes and add dust and mud pigments to the running gear. Before gluing, clean the parts of flash and sprue gate remnants and dry-fit the individual pieces first; glue them with thin cement for plastic, which gives a firm and clean joint. For better paint adhesion lay down a primer first and spray in thin coats, ideally with an airbrush. Even the surface out with a varnish before weathering and let each coat dry thoroughly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
