The Sd.Kfz.247 was a light armored command car of the German army. The Ausf.B version was built on the production four-wheel Horch chassis and served the staffs of armored and reconnaissance units as a protected vehicle for the commander. Only a few dozen were built, which makes it a fairly rare and attractive subject. It was used at the beginning of the war and in the later years on the Eastern Front and elsewhere.
Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement. Finish and paint the inside of the hull before you close the upper parts. The open superstructure rewards careful painting of the interior and the instruments. Build and paint the figures separately — the faces and hands by layering flesh tones, the uniforms shaded with washes and a dry brush. Unify the vehicle with the figures using dust pigments and fine wear on the edges.
