The Italian add-on set 1:35 Sherman M4 A3 refines the details of the American medium tank and is prepared for a model under construction. The set is intended for the Tamiya kit.

The Italian brand Royal Model prepared this accessory for modelers who want to give the American M4A3 Sherman medium tank in 1:35 scale the fineness that an injection mold cannot offer. It covers the small items on the hull and the turret, where thin edges and crisp shapes decide the overall impression. It assumes that you already have the basic model under construction. It follows the dimensions of the Tamiya kit.
The M4A3 differed from the other Shermans in its powerplant: the Ford GAA gasoline eight-cylinder engine, designed specifically for tank use and therefore lower than the radial aircraft engines of the first production runs. It was this version that American units fighting in Europe received first, and it became the most widespread variant of the closing stage of the war. Later examples carried the longer 76 mm gun, a redesigned front plate with larger hatches for the driver and HVSS suspension with wide tracks.
Before you seat anything, degrease the parts and try dry how they fit. Hold the small pieces with tweezers and dose the glue with the tip of a wire so that it does not run over the surrounding surface. An olive finish comes alive when you lighten the upper surfaces and run a dark wash into the recesses; pigments will suggest a dusty running gear.
The set is supplied unpainted. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
