ICM 1:35 KUNG box body is a plastic kit of the special-purpose box body of a military truck, not of the whole vehicle.

An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM. According to the name this is a KUNG type box body, that is the special-purpose body fitted to a military truck in place of a classic flatbed cargo bed. The package therefore does not hold a complete vehicle: the body is mounted on a chassis that has to be obtained separately. The exact contents of the package and the number of parts are given in the instructions enclosed with the kit.
Box bodies designated by the abbreviation KUNG were used on Soviet and later on other medium-class military trucks. They serve as a transportable workplace: a workshop, a signals station, a laboratory or a command post. They are recognized by the square box with sloping upper edges, doors at the rear, small windows and ventilation fittings. That is exactly why they turn up in dioramas: one body can turn an ordinary truck into a clearly readable special-purpose vehicle.
The box is made up of large flat walls, and with those it pays to glue slowly and to check the right angles, because asymmetry shows more on a square body than on rounded shapes. Fill and sand the joints at the corners, otherwise the line of the joint will show once the model is varnished. Deal with the interior according to whether you will have the doors open; if so, finish it before the box is closed. Apply a primer before painting, spray the large flat surfaces in thin coats and break them up with lighting modulation so that they do not look flat. Build the weathering with a wash into the panel lines and with dust pigments from the bottom up.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The vehicle chassis, glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
