The model catches the eye with the characteristic angled launch containers for anti-ship missiles along the sides of the superstructure. The box contains injection-molded plastic parts, clear parts, a photo-etched fret and decals; check the exact contents on the box.
The Project 1164 cruisers (Slava class) were among the most heavily armed surface ships of the Soviet and Russian Navy. They carried sixteen large anti-ship missiles in their conspicuous containers, long-range anti-aircraft systems and gun armament. The lead ship Slava was later renamed Moskva and served as the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet.
Build this large model in sections: hull, deck, superstructure, funnels, launch containers and radars. Use thin cement for plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. We recommend a primer base and airbrush coats in shades of gray; railings and fine strip detail will add to the realism. The model is full-hull and you display it on a stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
