Quinta Studio 1:43 ZiL-130 — a set of detail parts (for the AVD kit) is a 3D-printed upgrade set that refines and completes the plastic model of the Soviet truck. It is not a model but an accessory for more experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a vehicle kit but a set of 3D-printed detail parts from Quinta Studio, meant to equip and refine the model of the ZiL-130 truck in 1:43 scale. The set is conceived for the matching AVD plastic kit and replaces or completes its coarser parts with more faithful, finely printed elements. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
The ZiL-130 is a Soviet medium truck built by the Moscow ZiL works (Zavod imeni Likhacheva). With its characteristic two-tone cab and a gasoline V8, from the 1960s on it was one of the most widespread utility vehicles in the USSR and in the Eastern Bloc, and it served in civilian and army versions for decades. Thanks to its enormous production run it became one of the icons of Soviet automotive engineering.
First wash any residue off the 3D-printed parts and separate them carefully from the supporting stubs. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), not with ordinary cement for plastic. A primer before filling and spraying is worth applying; work with a sharp knife and protect your airways when sanding. Fine edges and small parts call for calm and a steady hand.
This is an add-on set, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
