An injection-molded plastic kit of the American Douglas A-26 Invader twin-engine bomber in 1:48 scale by ICM, with decal options from the Pacific theater at the end of the Second World War. The kit offers finely engraved surface detail, a detailed cockpit and several marking schemes. The model is supplied unglued and unpainted.
The A-26 Invader was a capable American attack and bomber aircraft that entered service in the closing stage of the Second World War. In the Pacific it was used in 1945, and thanks to its speed and firepower it was among the best machines in its class; it stayed in service for many postwar years as well.
We recommend thin cement for plastic and assembling the cockpit interior before the fuselage is closed. The natural metal finish of many machines comes out with a good metallic paint sprayed with an airbrush onto a smooth base; the panel lines are brought out by a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
