An injection-molded plastic kit of the Bf 109F-4/B fighter-bomber version in 1:48 scale from ICM. The box contains injection-molded plastic including the parts for the underwing stores, a clear canopy part and a decal sheet; the model is meant to be glued and painted.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 F series (Friedrich) brought an aerodynamically cleaner airframe. The F-4 version received the engine-mounted MG 151 cannon of 20 mm caliber and better armor; the F-4/B subvariant was adapted for the fighter-bomber role with the ability to carry a bomb or a drop tank under the fuselage. These machines operated over the English Channel and on the Eastern Front.
Paint and fit the cockpit before you close up the fuselage, and add the underfuselage rack and the bomb according to the scheme you choose. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and the clear canopy with a glue for clear parts. Apply a primer and lay the Luftwaffe camouflage down with an airbrush and careful masking.
