An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109F-4 fighter in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer ICM, completed with a set of figures. Besides the aircraft the package contains figures of Luftwaffe ground personnel - a senior officer, two pilots, four mechanics and a dog. The set is therefore an ideal basis for a diorama with a story.
The Bf 109F was among the aerodynamically cleanest versions of this fighter; the F-4 variant received a more powerful engine and revised armament and was used during the period of the peak air operations. A scene with pilots and mechanics recalls everyday work on field airfields.
Finish and paint the cockpit before closing the fuselage. Paint the figures separately and complete the group with a base or a diorama surface. The camouflage of the aircraft is best done with an airbrush; even the surface out with a gloss clear coat under the decals and use a decal softener.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
