Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British twin-engine heavy fighter Bristol Beaufighter in its Mk. VI version, in 1:48 scale from Revell. The package includes parts in light gray plastic, clear parts, and a decal sheet with markings for both the Royal Air Force (RAF) and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British two-seat, twin-engine aircraft powered by a pair of radial engines. Thanks to its heavy armament and rugged construction, it served as a heavy and night fighter, a strike aircraft, and a torpedo bomber. The Mk. VI version was one of the most numerous and was deployed across a range of theaters from Europe to the Pacific, where the aircraft served, among others, in RAAF colors.
Use liquid plastic cement applied into the seams; for the wing-to-fuselage joints and the cockpit glazing, it pays to dry-fit the parts and carefully clean up the seams. Finish the cockpit interior and landing gear before closing the fuselage. Apply a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush in thin coats; apply the RAF/RAAF decals over a glossy base, highlight panel lines with a wash, and unify the surface with varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
