Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British twin-engine Bristol Beaufort Mk.I torpedo bomber in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian maker ICM. It is a modern new tooling with a richly broken-down cockpit interior and finely rendered radial engines. The box offers several marking variants of machines from the beginning of the Second World War.
The Beaufort was the main torpedo bomber of RAF Coastal Command in the first years of the Second World War. It came into being as a derivative of the Blenheim light bomber, but it received more powerful engines and the ability to carry a torpedo or bombs for attacks on enemy ships. It was fielded over the North Sea and in the Mediterranean against convoys and large surface targets. The crew was usually made up of four men.
The cockpit interior and the pilot's area are exposed to view — assemble and paint them before you close the fuselage. The detailed engines deserve separate painting and a light wash before you close them into the nacelles. Mask the extensive glazing carefully. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement and sand the joints. Apply the British Coastal Command camouflage with an airbrush, lay the decals on a gloss clear and emphasize the recesses with a wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
