An injection-molded plastic kit ICM 1:48 Bristol Beaufort Mk.IA with figures of RAF pilots and ground personnel.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British torpedo bomber Bristol Beaufort Mk.IA in 1:48 scale from the maker ICM. This edition also contains a set of figures of RAF pilots and ground personnel, so it makes it possible to build a small diorama scene of the preparation of the machine for action.
The Beaufort was the main British torpedo bomber of RAF Coastal Command in the first years of the war. The Mk.IA version received a new dorsal gun turret and the machines were fitted with radar for finding surface targets. Beauforts carried out torpedo and bombing attacks and minelaying in harbors, mainly over the North Sea and in the Mediterranean.
Finish and paint the roomy interior with the cockpit area and the turret before the fuselage is closed. Mask the glazing of the nose and the cockpit. Paint the figures separately and set the scene up only after the model is finished. Spray the large surfaces with an airbrush and apply a gloss clear under the decals; fit the torpedo and the stores at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
