Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the twin-engined North American B-25J Mitchell bomber in 1:48 scale from Revell, supplied as a Gift Set. Besides the parts of the model, the box contains a basic set of paints, a brush and glue. This edition is presented in the eye-catching Flying scheme of a flying historic aircraft, of the kind shown at air shows.
The B-25 Mitchell was an American twin-engined medium bomber of the Second World War. It became famous for the daring raid on Tokyo in 1942, when Mitchells took off from the deck of an aircraft carrier. The B-25J version was the most numerous and the most versatile variant, used for bombing as well as for attacks on land and sea targets. Surviving airworthy machines are among the stars of air displays today.
Bond the parts with thin cement for plastic, and the glazing of the pilot's cockpit and the turrets with liquid cement for clear parts. The striking gloss Flying scheme is best built up with an airbrush over a primer and a smooth gloss base under the decals. Paint the cockpit and the interior before closing the fuselage. The set with paints makes the start easier for less experienced modelers too.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. In this set a basic set of paints, a brush and glue are included in the package.
