Responsibility details are not available.
A set of injection-molded plastic figures in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian maker ICM. The set captures pilots and ground personnel of the German Luftwaffe of the Second World War in natural poses beside an aircraft. The figures are meant to bring dioramas and aircraft models in the same scale to life and add a human dimension to an airfield scene.
The Luftwaffe, the German air arm of the years 1939 to 1945, rested not only on its pilots but also on extensive ground personnel: mechanics, armorers and handlers, without whom no takeoff took place. The figures capture period flying suits and working uniforms including the typical details of equipment, so they place a model of a fighter or a bomber convincingly in a real scene of maintenance and preparation for flight.
Cut the parts carefully off the sprues and clean the joins up with a file or a scalpel. Figures are best painted in stages: the faces and the hands you will manage with a brush, while the uniforms can first be sprayed in a base tone with an airbrush and then brought out with glazes and a dry brush. Before painting we recommend treating the surface with a primer for better adhesion.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
