This kit from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM captures the Soviet MiG-25 BM supersonic strike aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model with clear parts for the cockpit. The BM version was specialized in the suppression of enemy air defenses and carried anti-radar guided missiles. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The MiG-25 was among the fastest combat aircraft in history. The BM strike version was created on the basis of the RB reconnaissance-bomber variant and was armed with anti-radar missiles for destroying the opponent's radar stations. Its massive twin-engine design and high speed made it a feared instrument for deep strikes.
Finish the cockpit and the nose gear bay before closing the fuselage. The large surfaces of the wings and the fuselage come out well with an airbrush; complement the typical Soviet metallic and light shades with fine weathering of the panel lines. Work the joints of the massive engine nacelles carefully and do not forget the correct nose-heavy balance of the model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
