Mustang P-51 D-15 WWII US Air Forces fighter 1:48 is a plastic kit of the late version of the American North American fighter from ICM.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:48 scale from ICM represents the late production P-51D-15 version of the legendary American Mustang fighter. The model comes as a set of plastic parts with engraved panel lines, a teardrop canopy and the characteristic dorsal fin for better directional stability.
The P-51D was the most widely built version of the Mustang and one of the most successful fighter and escort aircraft of the Second World War. It was powered by the Packard Merlin V12 engine, which gave it long range and excellent performance at altitude. The D-15 block belonged to the late series with the laminar flow wing and six .50 caliber machine guns.
Glue with liquid cement for plastic and sand the fuselage seams carefully. The natural metal finish of most Mustangs calls for a smooth, high-quality base and metallic paints applied with an airbrush. Do not forget the prominent invasion stripes and the colored propeller spinner of the particular squadron.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
