This injection-molded plastic kit from ICM captures the American North American P-51K Mustang fighter in 1:48 scale. The model matches the variant with a different propeller and a larger clear canopy, it has a finely engraved surface with panel lines and rivets and a detailed cockpit. Decals for two American machines are enclosed.
The P-51K was a variant of the famous long-range escort fighter and fighter-bomber Mustang. It differed from its sister versions above all in the type of propeller and in the form of the canopy; in US Air Force service it served as a high-performance fighter with great range in the closing part of the Second World War.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Finish the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. For the glossy metal surfaces an airbrush and a good primer are the right choice; you can bring out the panel lines with a wash, and a gloss clear coat under the decals will make them adhere without silvering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
