Responsibility details are not available.
The OV-10 Bronco is an American twin-boom aircraft with turboprop engines, intended for reconnaissance, for directing air support and for cooperation with ground units. A short take-off and landing on improvised strips allowed it to operate close to the front. The cockpit is extensively glazed, including the lower panels, so that the crew can see beneath them as well, so on a model the glazing takes up a large area and its frames are visible from every side.
A double-sided set of masks for spraying in 1:48 scale, cut out of yellow kabuki paper and cut for the kit from the brand ICM with the kit numbers 48300 and 48301. The double-sided form means masks for the outer as well as the inner side of the glazing, so the frames get paint from both sides and no bare clear plastic is left when you look into the cockpit. The exact extent of the delivery is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Stick the inner masks on before you settle the glazing into the fuselage, as later you will not reach it. Lift the pieces off the sheet with tweezers, lay them on a clean and degreased surface and press the edges down with a toothpick, above all across the curves of the frames. Kabuki paper adapts to a shape well and holds only moderately, so when it is lifted it does not as a rule pull the finish off. Apply the paint in several thin coats and take the mask off soon after it has dried, with a stroke at an angle.
The kit of the aircraft and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
