Aber 1:48 a set of 4 turned barrel muzzles for the German 7.92 mm MG 17 aircraft machine gun is a metal detail accessory that replaces the plastic barrel muzzles on a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A metal detail accessory of the Polish company Aber, not an airplane model. The package holds four turned metal muzzles (the end sections) of the barrels of the German 7.92 mm MG 17 aircraft machine gun in 1:48 reduction. The muzzles are fitted onto shortened plastic barrels and give the weapon a precisely drilled ending.
The MG 17 was the standard German 7.92 mm aircraft machine gun of the Second World War, mounted in the fuselage as well as the wings of a number of fighters such as the Bf 109 or the Fw 190. Four muzzles will cover even aircraft with a higher number of these weapons.
Cut off the original plastic ending of the barrel, drill a hole into the rest of the part and glue the metal muzzle in with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the metal before painting and coat it with a base paint (a primer). In 1:48 scale these are small parts, so we recommend tweezers.
This is a finishing accessory to a plastic model. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
