This plastic set of figures from ICM in 1:48 scale contains members of the US Army Air Forces (USAAF) of the Second World War period. The box includes flying and ground personnel in various poses - the figures complement aircraft models and enliven scenes on an airfield. The set does not contain an aircraft model.
The US Army Air Forces (USAAF) deployed thousands of airmen and ground personnel on every battlefield between 1941 and 1945. The figures capture the typical uniforms and kit of pilots and mechanics as they could be seen with operational units in the Second World War.
Separate the small parts with a sharp knife and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Paint the figures separately, ideally over a base primer; for faces and uniforms, layering and fine shading work well. You will appreciate the set most alongside an aircraft model in the same scale.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
