An extensive injection-molded plastic set in 1:48 scale from ICM that lets you build a scene of a British wartime airfield. The box combines models of Supermarine Spitfire fighters, a set of figures of air and ground crews. Everything is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The set captures the setting of an airfield of the Royal Air Force in the Second World War. The legendary Spitfire fighters formed the backbone of the British fighter defense; around them on the airfield moved the ground personnel who saw to maintenance, refueling and preparing the machines for flight.
Plan the build in subassemblies: the aircraft first, then the figures and the equipment. Glue the plastic with liquid cement. For a faithful scene, unify the color tones of the aircraft, the uniforms and the accessories and add discreet weathering; the set is an ideal basis for a diorama of your own.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
