An injection-molded plastic kit of the starship U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 as seen in the film Star Trek Into Darkness, in 1:500 scale from Revell. The model captures the film appearance of the ship with a split saucer section, a separate bridge, a two-part secondary hull and multi-part warp nacelles on pylons. The package holds a display base in the shape of the Starfleet insignia. It is a large and intricate model for advanced builders.
The U.S.S. Enterprise is the legendary starship of the Star Trek universe. This variant is based on her film appearance in the 2013 picture Star Trek Into Darkness, where she was given a modernized, more dynamic shape. She serves as a flagship for the exploration of space as well as for defensive missions and is among the most iconic vessels of science fiction.
Glue the large hull parts carefully and sand the seams; bring out the light surface of the ship with subtle shading of the panel lines. The model is prepared for optional lighting, but the lighting needed is sold separately. Glue the glazed and translucent parts carefully so that they do not cloud over, and fit them only after the surrounding areas have been painted.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
