This plastic kit in 1:57 scale captures the legendary X-wing fighter, one of the best-known craft of the Star Wars universe. The model reproduces the characteristic outline with four wing booms that open out into the shape of an X. The set is meant to be glued and painted.
The X-wing is a single-seat fighter of the rebel fleet, famous for its maneuverability and its versatility. Its recognition feature is the wings, which open into a cross in attack mode and so widen the field of fire of the four laser cannons. In the fictional world it stands as the counterweight to the imperial TIE machines.
Join the parts with thin cement for plastic. For a realistic look we would suggest a primer base, the main shade sprayed with an airbrush and then the panel lines picked out with a wash. A battered, worn look to the surface is underlined by drybrushing and fine pigments.
