Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the British battleship HMS Dreadnought in her 1918 condition, in 1:700 scale from Trumpeter. The kit contains photo-etched parts, decals, a stand and a nameplate, and the deck planking is finely engraved. The model can be built as a full hull.
HMS Dreadnought was the first battleship with a uniform heavy gun armament and steam turbine propulsion. Her conception made every earlier battleship obsolete and gave a whole generation of dreadnoughts its name. She carried ten twelve-inch guns. At the end of the First World War she guarded the Thames estuary, in 1919 she went into reserve and in 1921 she was sold for scrap.
The hull can be built whole on the stand supplied. It pays to use the fine photo-etched parts, such as the railings, to undercoat the model with primer and to paint it with an airbrush. Paint the small superstructure parts and the armament separately and bring the surface to life with fine washes and a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
