That line covers the German aircraft projects of the end of the Second World War which stayed on the drawing board. The Model Set version adds the basic paints, a brush and glue to the model, so the box is ready for building.
The Ar E.555 was an Arado design for a long-range jet bomber in a flying wing layout, that is a machine without a separate fuselage and without a conventional tail unit. The swept wing surfaces were to carry the crew cabin in the leading edge and a cluster of jet engines above the rear. The project existed in several variants, which differed in the number and the placement of the engines, and none of them was built. The model is therefore a model of a design study, not a copy of a flying machine, and in the same way the markings supplied are imagined.
A flying wing has large smooth surfaces on which every seam and scratch shows, so it pays to fill the joints, sand them back and even out the surface with a base color before spraying. Spray the large area in thin coats so that the paint does not pile up in the corners. Bring out the panel lines with a fine wash. With a project aircraft you have no period photographs, so stick to the schemes in the instructions when it comes to camouflage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. According to the manufacturer, the Model Set contains the basic paints, a brush and glue; other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
