Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the BAe Hawk T.1 jet trainer in the colors of the famous British aerobatic team the Red Arrows, in 1:72 scale from Revell. The parts are molded in red plastic, and the kit has finely engraved panel lines, a detailed cockpit with ejection seats and a smoke tank for the colored trails.
The BAe Hawk is a British subsonic trainer and light combat aircraft that has served since the 1970s and became the basis of training in many air forces. The T.1 version is known above all as the machine of the Red Arrows, the aerobatic team of the Royal Air Force (RAF). The team made its name with precise formation flying and colored trails in red, white and blue.
Red plastic does not mean the model needs no painting: for a clean result, apply primer and an even red with an airbrush. Glue with liquid cement for plastic and paint the cockpit before closing it up. The good Red Arrows decals deserve a smooth gloss base; lay a gloss coat under them and unify the surface at the end. The crispness of the white and blue elements on the red will come through with good surface preparation.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
