The BM-24-12 was a Soviet mobile rocket system that carried twelve tubes for 240 mm rockets on its cradle. From the mid-nineteen fifties to the early nineteen seventies it was among the most powerful systems of its kind in its class. The ZiL-157 chassis was a proven Soviet cross-country truck with all-wheel drive, widely used as a carrier for military equipment.
Clean the flash off the small parts in this scale and glue them gently with liquid cement. Paint the cab before you close it up and mask the glazing. Spray the whole vehicle with an airbrush in Soviet green and render the weathering with washes and pigments for dust effects on the chassis and the wheels. Bring the launch tubes to life with metallic shades.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
