An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Focke Wulf Fw 190 F-8 ground-attack aircraft in 1:72 scale from Revell. The model captures the ground-attack version of this celebrated fighter. The package holds plastic parts, clear cockpit parts and a decal sheet for period markings.
The Fw 190 was a single-seat fighter powered by a radial engine, one of the best German combat aircraft of the Second World War. The F-8 version was intended for the direct support of ground troops, that is as a fighter-bomber with armor protection and the ability to carry bombs. It was deployed above all on the Eastern Front and elsewhere in the closing stages of the war.
We recommend thin cement for plastic and cleaning up the sprue gates. Finish and paint the cockpit before closing the fuselage. Apply a primer, spray the covering shades with an airbrush and bring up the panel lines with a wash. An airbrush suits the typical German camouflage; apply the decals over a smooth gloss finish and finally unify it with a matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
