The set of plastic kits 1:72 In the skies of China from the manufacturer ICM. A combination of the Japanese bomber Ki-21-Ia and two Ki-27a fighters from the fighting over China.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of injection-molded plastic kits from the manufacturer ICM in 1:72 scale containing three models: one twin-engine Ki-21-Ia bomber and two Ki-27a fighters. The box offers accurately shaped parts and decals for the bomber as well as the fighters, so you can build a coherent scene of Japanese aviation from the fighting over China.
The Mitsubishi Ki-21, nicknamed Sally by the Allies, was a Japanese twin-engine bomber valued for its range and ceiling; the Ki-21-Ia version was among the early production batches deployed over China. The Nakajima Ki-27, nicknamed Nate, was a light and agile fighter with fixed landing gear that became one of the main Japanese fighters at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s. The set captures their joint deployment during the Second Sino-Japanese War.
A small scale rewards careful fitting of the fuselage halves and clean work with thin parts. On the bomber pay attention to the glazing of the cockpit and of the turrets, on the fighters to the fixed landing gear and the propellers. Use a primer, an airbrush and a subtle emphasis of the panel lines; seat the decals on a gloss surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
