Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German dive bomber Junkers Ju-87B-2 Stuka in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. Zvezda models in this scale tend to be designed with an easy build in mind. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; for the exact contents and the number of schemes go by the enclosed instructions.
The Ju-87 Stuka was a symbol of German blitzkrieg tactics – a two-seat dive bomber with a characteristic inverted gull wing and fixed landing gear in teardrop fairings. The B-2 version was one of the early combat variants deployed at the start of the Second World War. The Stuka became famous for accurate dive bombing and for the psychological effect of its sirens, the so-called Jericho trumpets, during an attack. It was, however, slow and vulnerable without fighter cover.
First finish and paint the glazed cockpit, because you can see inside through the large canopy. Seat the fixed landing gear and its fairings carefully according to the angles. The divided glazing is easier to paint with masks or a narrow brush. Spray the base over a primer; apply the typical German scheme (gray-green upper surfaces, a light underside) with an airbrush. Bring out the panel lines with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
