ICM K-Verbände Midget Submarines (1:72) is a plastic double kit of German midget submarines of the Second World War in one package.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale containing two German midget submarines from the equipment of the K-Verband units. In the box you will find two separate kits and a decal sheet with several marking options for both types. The set therefore makes it possible to build a pair of small craft and so to present the equipment of the German small battle units.
The K-Verband was a German naval small battle unit formation founded in 1944, which deployed midget submarines and other small craft. The midget submarines for one or two men served for attacks in coastal waters in the closing stages of the Second World War. They were technically simple but operationally used assets.
Given the small dimensions, clean the parts up carefully and use a thin cement for plastic. The hulls can be built complete or in a surfaced version with a stand. Spray the model with a base coat before painting, apply the shades with an airbrush and finish the surface off with washes to bring out the detail. A light emphasis of the rivets and hatches is worthwhile as well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
