Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet piston-engined Mil Mi-4 helicopter in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. The box holds parts in gray plastic, clear glazing and a decal sheet. The model has an engraved panel texture and captures faithfully the characteristic layout of the fuselage with the engine in the front section.
The Mil Mi-4 is a Soviet transport helicopter with a piston engine housed in the nose and a large four-blade main rotor. It entered service in 1952 and replaced the smaller Mi-1. It served to carry troops and cargo, on airborne and liaison duties and in civil service as well. Roughly 3000 were built before production ended at the end of the nineteen sixties. The Hound A version is the basic transport form of this machine.
Join the plastic parts with liquid modeling cement. Glue the tall fuselage in stages and let the joints dry properly. Lay down a primer before painting, then spray with an airbrush. Fine weathering and picking out the panel lines suit an older machine. A gloss coat compatible with the paint prepares the surface for the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
