Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Polish PZL.23 Karas light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft. The set from the long-established manufacturer Heller offers a well-shaped fuselage with finely raised panel lines and is a classic subject for lovers of the prewar Polish Air Force.
The PZL.23 Karas was a Polish single-engine low-wing aircraft used as a light bomber and a reconnaissance machine. It came out of the PZL design office in Warsaw in the first half of the 1930s, and at the outbreak of the Second World War it formed the backbone of the Polish bomber units. Its underslung gondola for the gunner and its fixed landing gear are characteristic.
Finish the cockpit and the underslung gondola before closing up the fuselage. Use thin plastic cement and fill and sand the joints if needed. The Polish camouflage with its earthy shades comes out well through an airbrush and is brought to life by light accenting of the panel lines and restrained weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
