Kit of the Soviet ground-attack aircraft Sukhoi Su-25 (NATO reporting name Frogfoot) in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Zvezda. It is an injection-molded plastic model with engraved panel lines, a cockpit and a rich selection of external stores for the hardpoints. You build the model as a classic aircraft kit out of the box.
The Su-25 is a single-seat subsonic ground-attack aircraft intended for close air support of ground troops. It originated in the Sukhoi design bureau and the prototype first flew in 1975. Its rugged, well armored airframe with a pair of engines destined it for use low over the battlefield; the aircraft proved itself in a number of conflicts and serves in many countries to this day.
Glue the parts with a liquid cement for plastic and mind the recommended nose weight so that the model does not sit down on its tail. Finish the cockpit and the landing gear before closing the fuselage. An airbrush and preshading suit the disruptive camouflage; a final gloss varnish under the decals ensures a clean transition and a flat varnish unifies the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
