This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale captures the French twin-engine multi-purpose Super Puma AS 332 helicopter. The model from the French manufacturer Heller contains plastic sprues, clear glazing parts and decals for two markings. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Aerospatiale AS 332 Super Puma is a four-blade twin-engine helicopter of the medium class, which entered service in the 1980s. It is used to carry troops and materiel, for logistic support and for rescue missions over the sea. The M2 version is a stretched and modernized military conversion with more capable equipment.
Finish and glaze the cabin first, because it is harder to reach once the fuselage is joined. Leave the rotor blades and the landing gear separate for spraying. Helicopters look their best with a clean matte or semi-gloss finish, light accentuation of the panel lines and restrained weathering on the underside of the fuselage.
