Trumpeter 1:72 T-34/85 Model 1944 is an unassembled plastic kit of the legendary Soviet medium tank of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Soviet T-34/85 medium tank in the 1944 version. The model consists of several sprues of light gray plastic and contains one-piece flexible tracks and waterslide decals. It is a classic kit to be assembled and painted, and neither glue nor paints are included in the package.
The T-34/85 was the rearmed version of the older T-34/76. It was given a new three-man turret with a powerful 85 mm gun, which gave it back the advantage over German tanks. Its steeply sloped armor, reliable diesel engine and wide tracks made it one of the most successful tanks of the war, deployed in vast numbers on the Eastern Front from 1944 to the closing battles.
We recommend assembling and fine-tuning the running gear before the hull is closed up. Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic and lay the base color on with an airbrush. The typical Soviet protective shade comes to life with lightened surfaces, fine washes in the recesses and dust or mud pigments on the running gear and the lower areas.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
