An injection-molded plastic kit of the Bell UH-1C Huey helicopter in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. The fuselage is slide-molded with fine surface detail and the box contains clear parts for the glazing. The set is meant to be assembled and painted.
The UH-1C was an improved form of the Huey line, which was given a modified rotor system and a more powerful engine. Compared with the earlier UH-1B it was better adapted to the role of an armed helicopter and during the Vietnam War it carried out fire support tasks above all. The Huey line is among the best-known helicopters of its era.
Mask the cabin glazing so that it stays clean. Finish the interior before you close the fuselage. Matte military shades sprayed with an airbrush suit it well; bring out the chipping and the panel lines with washes and dry-brushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
