Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Ural-375A command vehicle in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian maker ICM. Unlike the flatbed version, this vehicle carries a closed box body (the KUNG type) that served as a mobile command post. The kit has a detailed chassis, a cab with basic interior detail and a paneled box body. The exact contents of the package and the number of marking options are not stated here.
The Ural-375 was a Soviet heavy off-road truck with 6x6 drive, built from the 1960s in Miass. The Soviet Army used the version with the closed box body as a mobile command, signals and staff workplace in the field. The closed box protected the crew and the equipment from the weather and allowed the equipment to run continuously out in the open, while the vehicle kept the high mobility of the basic chassis.
Start by assembling and painting the chassis and the running gear, then close up the cab and the box body. Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. Lay down a primer and the colors with an airbrush; the large flat surfaces of the box come alive once the panel joints are picked out with a wash and dust and mud effects are added with pigments to the lower areas.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
