The 88mm Gun and Tractor in 1:76 scale is a classic plastic kit of the German antiaircraft gun with its tractor from the maker Airfix.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit brings the famous German 88 mm gun together with a half-track artillery tractor. It is a proven classic mold that offers the gun, the tractor, a set of figures and vinyl tracks. The package contains the parts, decals and instructions for building the whole combination.
The German 88 mm gun was one of the most feared weapons of the Second World War. Antiaircraft to begin with, it made its mark in the antitank role as well, thanks to its high penetrating power and long range. The half-track tractor gave it its mobility, so the pair made up a formidable mobile artillery combination, used among other places in North Africa.
Finish both the gun and the tractor in subassemblies, and fit the tracks of the tractor as a single vinyl piece. Spray the combination in shades of the gray of the period or in desert yellow, according to where it served. The weathering is finished off with a dark wash, dust pigments and dry-brushing on the edges. The figures will bring the finished scene to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
