It is an officially licensed model that, besides the injection-molded plastic parts, contains photo-etched stainless steel sheets, reflective film for the mirrors and water-slide decals with several color variants. The model is assembled and painted into a faithful miniature of a favorite machine for long-distance travel.
The BMW R 1250 GS Adventure is among the most popular touring enduro motorcycles in the world. It is powered by an air and liquid cooled boxer twin with variable valve timing. The Adventure version adds a larger tank, sturdy crash bars and equipment for long journeys and light off-road use.
Assemble the frame and the engine first, followed by the suspension and the wheels. The painted and chrome surfaces come into their own after spraying with an airbrush over a gloss base, and the sponsor decals and markings should be protected with varnish. Join the photo-etched parts with super glue and the plastic parts with a thin modeling cement. Choose the color variant before building, so that you match the paints and the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
