DSPIAE AS-RD25 is three sanding plates of aluminum alloy in a red version, measuring roughly 75x25x2 millimeters.

Three thin plates of aluminum alloy that serve as a rigid carrier for abrasive paper. A plate guarantees that the face being sanded stays flat, which fingers and a soft sponge cannot manage, because they adapt to the surface and copy the very unevenness you want to remove.
The plates are used in sets: a different grit is stuck onto each one and during work they are simply swapped. That does away with resticking the paper between steps and, above all, it prevents the most common damage of all, where a grain from the coarse paper is carried over to the finishing step and cuts a scratch into a face that had been smoothed.
The plates are suitable for anyone who sands joints and filler and wants several grits to hand at once. They complement the larger boards with handles, which are held better on long seams. Abrasive papers are not included in the package.
The plates go well together with the larger boards: the larger ones for the coarse leveling of a bigger face, these for finishing and cramped places. Do not breathe in the sanding dust from plastic and resin; work with extraction or at least with a respirator.
