Aber brass tubes 1.50 x 0.20 mm, 250 mm long, 4 pieces are a hollow metal stock for making barrels, tube frames and runs.
Responsibility details are not available.
A modeling stock material from the Polish manufacturer Aber. The package holds four brass tubes with an outside diameter of 1.50 mm and a length of 250 mm; the second figure, 0.20 mm, is the wall thickness. Unlike solid rods, a tube is hollow, so it has a real opening, and that is essential wherever a muzzle has to be visible or something has to pass through.
Never cut a tube with nippers; they would crush it. Use a tube cutter or a fine saw, or score around the tube with a sharp knife and break it off carefully. Remove the burr from the end with a drill bit or a tapered abrasive so that it stays circular. When bending, a thin-walled tube kinks easily; a large radius or filling it with wire will help. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue or with epoxy, and it can also be soldered. Degrease and apply a primer before painting.
For modelers of vehicles, aircraft, ships and dioramas who make their own parts, and for anyone who wants to replace a plastic barrel or tube with a part that has a real opening.
This is a material with no set scale. Paints, glue and tools are not included in the package.
